A bustling hot-spot of cafes, restaurants and bars for Sydney's night time crowd.

Enmore is 5.5km south-west of the Sydney CBD. It is part of the local government area of Marrickville Council.

Enmore was named after Enmore House, built in 1835 by Captain Sylvester Browne, a master mariner with the British East India Company. Browne named his house after the West Indian estate of a business associate, the head of James Cavan & Co, which in turn took its name from the London suburb.

Enmore has an eclectic mix of trendy bars, pubs and eateries that suit its laid-back lifestyle.

Home to the famous Enmore Theatre, a popular venue to see live performances, of music, film and comedy of all genres.
